Big Meringue News!

For those of you who are familiar with the Meringue Whipped Shea Butter, you know how amazing it is. Just a tiny amount applied after you wash your hands, or after a shower, or ever after putting on our Silky Smooth Lotion helps to lock in moisture and keeps your driest skin happy.

Well, now it’s even better, with the addition of sunflower oil in place of the traditional grapeseed oil. Testers have raved about it.

So, why haven’t you seen this news sooner? Well, even before the pandemic, supply chains were shaky. In November of 2019, I ran out of the 4 oz. lotion bottles, and it was February before they were restocked. You would think that would be a wake-up call to stock up heavily on containers, and I did – for the lotions. There’s a limit, both financially and spatially, of how much stock one can hold.

Then, November of 2020, I ran out of the Meringue containers after getting a large (and very much welcome) unexpected order. So, I placed an immediate order or jars, lids, and the press-and-seal liners for shipping. A week or so later, I get the jars, liners – and a refund for the lids. Expected restock? March 12, 2021.

I got an additional order, and in an emergency fix, I created these portable, though smaller, Meringues.

Address (required by law) blurred because internet, yo

This is quite a bit smaller than the original 2.5 oz volume, but because packaging is expensive, the cost is within a few scents, I mean, cents. Ha! So, it would be the same price as the full size Meringue. However, what it lacks in size, it definitely makes up for in convenience.

Since that time, I have sourced lids for the existing jars, so the usual 2.5 oz Meringues will be available. But, I kind of think the new ones have a lot to offer.

What do you think? Let me know in the comments if a convenience-sized Meringue would be something you would like.
