When I started looking at different products I could make, it took me a while to find a recipe more complicated than “Buy lotion base, add scent and color”. When I discovered a scientific-based resource for formulating products, I was in love. I thought, “Okay, we’ll try this, and if it’s like every other lotion I’ve tried, I’ll just get to say, ‘Well, now I know how to make lotion’ and go about my business.” After making it, I took a small swipe from the mixer and rubbed it on the back of my hand. “Welp, guess I’m making lotion now.”

Ingredients: Distilled water, Sunflower oil, Shea butter, Polawax, Cetyl Alcohol, Fragrance, & Germall Plus (a preservative)
